* About John Carson  

John Carson, who passed away in 1994, was a man of the people, respected throughout Liverpool for his voluntary work; trustworthy, honest and principled he epitomised everything good about community spirit. 

Prior to his death John was the Chairperson of the Community Health Council and spear headed numerous campaigns. As well as his involvement in health issues John was a member of Highfield Tenants Association, Chairperson of Old Swan Community Council and had a leading role in the regions Amateur Boxing Association.
